Women Cell of Dr. B.K.B. College is constituted in the year 2006 with an objective to increase participation of women faculties in designing and implementing the policies at the institute. It is also formed to accelerate the process of cooperation and involvement with the local society to solve different issues of the women. The women cell has actively organized different programmes in the peripheral area of the college since its existence and also framed policies to address problems of the girl students of the college and women of the neighbouring areas. The women cell has celebrated International Women’s Day and Children’s Day every year since its establishment.
